While Fat Dog were slowly rising into the band you can’t look at a festival lineup without seeing, their saxophonist, Morgan Wallace, was slowly honing the sound of her experimental pop side-project Morgan Noise. Despite only having three singles under their belt, the band have quickly established a unique sound defined by wonky synths, relentless rhythmic shifts and influences from jazz, rock, electronic, pop and experimental music. Of course, Morgan’s sax and voice remain at the core of their output, retaining a sense of melody amongst the chaos of their instrumentals. Let's hope the relentlessness of Fat Dog’s 2025 still allows for some more from Morgan Noise. -Dan Peeke
